Metallic or holographic gloss and colour effects aren’t always necessary in print finishing. When matt/gloss effects are needed, or when there’s a need for blind embossing, if a partial gloss varnish couldn’t be applied during printing, or if the desire for a partial gloss finish arose after printing, this must be addressed during the print finishing process.



For such cases, we offer a specialised, transparent, high-gloss Hot Stamping product series. This range provides excellent processing on both coated and uncoated substrates, on silicone and oil-free water-based coatings, as well as on PET/OPP thermal and wet laminates.



Depending on the application, process, and tools used, the resulting effect can mimic a partially flat, embossed or debossed gloss varnish, a partial screen-print varnish, or even a digitally applied relief coating.



Our universal transparent Hot Stamping transfer product is known for its exceptional substrate dampening, high gloss, uniform release, and wide versatility across all machine systems in the graphic arts industry.



Importantly, no plastic film is applied to the substrate with this product. The transfer layers required to create the effect are only a few micrometres thick – thinner than comparable coating applications – as is typical of all our transfer products.
